The purpose of drug addiction rehab is to help the addicted recover from their addictions regardless of what pattern of addiction the individual manifests: Excessive or inappropriate drug use; using drugs to feel normal; needing ever more drugs to experience highs; using drugs instead of having other life experiences; choosing drugs over profession, friend or family.
