Due to the large influx of doctors prescribing pain medications and the potency of the drugs being prescribed, it has become easier and easier to become addicted to drugs like Oxycontin. Although Oxycontin is very effective at relieving severe and chronic pain usually associated with injuries and terminal diseases, it is unfortunately extremely addictive.
