If you’ve hit bottom and realize that you’re an alcoholic, help is close by. There are hundreds of treatment centers , support groups and counselors that are ready to give you a hand to become clean and sober.

If you’re concerned that you’re an alcoholic and need help, consider talking to your doctor. No, don’t feel ashamed about it. Believe me, your doctor has heard it all and wants to help you be healthy. He can take a physical inventory and help you decide if you need to go through detox to stop drinking. If you do decide that you want to stop drinking, remember that you really do need to do it under a doctor’s supervision, anyway.
