Drug and alcohol treatment methods for treatment centers can and will include a number of treatment options: inpatient residential, day-treatment, outpatient, 12-step programs, or 12-step alternatives. 

This, of course, can be mandated by a court of law as part of a sentence if you were found guilty of a drug crime. In these cases, drug rehab methods will be different from one county to the next or from one state to the next.

Many drug and alcohol treatment methods will include counseling and/or group discussions to share experiences and empathize with peers, as this can be highly effective toward successful drug rehab.
