The goal of treatment at Acadiana Addiction Center (AAC) is to facilitate our clients’ journey to long-term abstinence from drugs and alcohol. Through education, individualized treatment and proven tools of recovery, our clients attain a thorough understanding of their recovery.We offer a full spectrum of care for addiction treatment. Patients have many different varieties of therapy available during treatment, including individual therapy, CBT, psycho-education, motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, and adventure therapy. Alternative therapies such as yoga, meditation, and animal-assisted therapy are also offered. Drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers help those with substance abuse problems to overcome and manage their addictions. Drug rehab centers often coexist with alcohol rehab centers since both substance abuse problems share some similarities and many who visit a treatment facility have both types of addictions and need to be treated at one facility for all of their addictions.
