Lake Ariel Recovery Center, like all of the Sanctuary Health Group facilities, is a medically proven recovery facility that provides comprehensive treatment for substance use and co-occurring disorders. Sanctuary Health utilizes Everlasting Recovery, an approach that aligns our client’s recovery journey directly with their life, to extend recovery into a client’s lifestyle. Our unique approach establishes treatment as a daily practice, refocuses an individual away from addiction towards a healthier existence, and makes sustainable recovery achievable. Due to this integration, each client begins Everlasting Recovery by assessing their performance in various aspects of their lives via the bio, psycho, and social model. This initial assessment allows our therapists to craft a personal recovery program, which allows the greatest opportunity for our clients to suppress addiction and adopt recovery as a permanent identity. When attending Lake Ariel Recovery Center, our clients will establish life skills, implement daily routines for lifestyle recovery, and ignite a purpose for achieving better their lives. Through accomplishing these tasks, our clients will achieve sustainable recovery.

Experience Recovery withdrawal management services are provided in a residential setting allowing clients to recover in a peaceful, home-like atmosphere. A wide range of withdrawal management services are organized within a comprehensive therapeutic environment that includes diagnostic determination, individual withdrawal management plans, psychiatric consultations if needed, medication education, individual counseling, individualized treatment planning, client advocacy, referral to community providers and discharge planning. Services are provided by licensed/certified clinicians and medical professionals.Detoxification from opioids without pharmacological support afterwards remains the dominant model of treatment despite decades of experience and evidence to the contrary. Upon completion of detox, Experience Recovery believes that it is necessary to teach the skills to cope with cravings and life challenges without drugs. During the residential portion of treatment, the individual will begin to learn the skills needed to live drug free. Experience Recovery understands opioid dependence and medications may need to be extended in all phases of treatment. Treatment will focus on recovery, and the many ways it can be reached.Once a client is stabilized and meets criteria for a less intensive level of care they can seamlessly move to our Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient, and Outpatient care. It is the belief of Experience Recovery that treatment should be a smooth transition and not each level of care a separate entity. All of the services offered are evidenced based and trauma informed care.

Diet Pills are Also Addictive
Have you noticed nowadays diet pills are available everywhere? It is available in your local supermarket, GNC, smoothie store, and also all over the internet. They promise for you to lose weight almost instantly doing nothing at all. If this promise holds true, are these pills an addiction?
We talked with a couple of our success stories and found their answers to whether or not these pills became an addiction and how it has affected their lives.
We found that while these diet pills have completely changed peoples lives there is no addictive quality about them.
The only one that showed a trace of dependency was ephedra based pills. These pills were BANNED to be sold in the US by the FDA. Since then, no ephedra based pills have been sold anywhere in the USA. This ban was needed and was the only problem with the diet pill industry.
The only diet pills that are allowed to be sold in the USA without a prescription is herbal based pills. This means that the ingredients are all natural and non-chemical.
The only thing that users of diet pills have to notice out for is that as 2,3,4 months passes you should be more dependant on your diet and exercise to lose weight rather then taking a pill. You should take diet pills as a temporary boost to help you get your body to maintain. After medication, it is your job to maintain your physical type. Diet pills is are not like a daily vitamin tablet. You have to consult your doctor often and look around for the harmless ST diet pill.
