The BasicsSunspire Health Hyde Park is a licensed residential treatment facility that provides a personal approach to care for women suffering from substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Our highly trained team of physicians, nurses, therapists and residential staff are addiction specialists who will get to know each patient in order to develop an individualized recovery plan. The warm, home-like setting of Hyde Park is ideal for healing body, mind, and spirit. Our facility is set in a gorgeous turn-of-the-century renovated Victorian home within a residential neighborhood, providing an ideal environment for healing and escaping the chaos of addiction. With 20 beds available and nursing staff on-site 24 hours a day, our facility offers accommodations that give peace of mind to women seeking a life of sobriety. Treatment and StaffIn addition to its residential/inpatient program, Hyde Park offers a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) in buildings separate from residential patients. Each patient receives individualized treatment based on her specific needs for recovery. Patients have many different varieties of therapy available during treatment, including individual therapy, family therapy, CBT, gender-specific group work, psycho-education, motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, and adventure therapy. Alternative therapies such as yoga, meditation, and mindfulness are also offered. The facility has a high staff-to-patient ratio, ensuring that each patient receives the personalized care she deserves.
Serenity House provides both short- and long-term treatment options for adult men and women, ages 18 and above, who have been struggling with substance abuse and chemical dependency. With no more than six people receiving care at any one time, Serenity House offers an intensely personalized treatment experience to all who choose to heal with us. Reflecting our strong focus on holistic wellness, our comprehensive programming is designed to address the physical, emotional, and spiritual elements of addiction and recovery.At Serenity House, patients have the opportunity to work in close collaboration with experienced and dedicated treatment professionals as they progress through an evidenced-based treatment curriculum. In addition to helping men and women end their dependence upon alcohol and/or other drugs, we devote significant attention to helping our patients develop the skills and create the healthy habits that will support their continued recovery and empower them to live a more productive and satisfying lifestyle.
The goal of treatment at Acadiana Addiction Center (AAC) is to facilitate our clients’ journey to long-term abstinence from drugs and alcohol. Through education, individualized treatment and proven tools of recovery, our clients attain a thorough understanding of their recovery.We offer a full spectrum of care for addiction treatment. This is part of our commitment to creating a long-term foundation for recovery with the men and women who stay with us. We offer detoxification services for those in the grips of their abuse as our highest level of care. Our main treatment programs are at the residential level, which give you time to learn recovery skills in a safe and serene setting and explore the roots of your addiction. We treat alcoholism, opiates, prescription drug addictions, and many other types of substance abuse. Each client receives their own assessment and a tailored treatment plan based around their own background and needs. We also have a premier extended care program for women called Belle of the Oaks.Our continuum of care continues with PHP and IOP programming as our clients get better and start re-integrating into their lives. And unlike many other addiction rehab clinics, we offer outpatient therapy and counseling, where you can schedule weekly or as-needed sessions.
Mirror Lake Recovery Center provides life-changing treatment services to men and women, aged 18 and above, who have been struggling with substance abuse and chemical dependency, and who also may be experiencing a co-occurring mental health disorder. When an individual enters treatment at Mirror Lake, he or she will work in close collaboration with a team of experienced and compassionate mental health professionals, including an addictionologist, master’s level therapists, case managers, registered nurses, clinical technicians, and other providers as needed.Depending upon each client’s unique needs, treatment at Mirror Lake Recovery Center may be provided at the detox, residential, or partial hospitalization (PHP) levels. At all levels, each client works with the members of his or her treatment team to identify the client’s needs, set treatment goals, and develop a comprehensive personalized treatment plan. The client’s treatment objectives will be individualized, realistic, measurable, time specific, and appropriate to the level of treatment. Alcoholics Anonymous Meetings
So, you’ve decided you want to stop drinking and were thinking of going to a support group to get help. You’re in luck because alcoholics anonymous meetings can be found almost anywhere. Alcoholics Anonymous is an organization of people who want to share their experiences, lend strength and help the members and others recover from alcoholism. To be a member, all you have to do is want to stop drinking. You don’t even have to pay dues to go to alcoholics anonymous meetings. They pass the basket but payment is not required.
There are two types of alcoholics anonymous meetings – the open meeting and the closed meeting. The open meetings will have speakers who will talk about how they drank, how AA helped them and people will share experiences. Family members and people interested in AA are welcome to attend open meetings. Closed meetings are for alcoholics only. At these meetings members may talk about personal problems, issues they have with sobriety, and can get direct, personal help as they commit to staying sober day by day. Other members may talk about the problems they encountered and give strategies for how they overcame them.
